Chinese rebel Liu Xiaobo was announced as the winner of Nobel Peace Prize 2010 in Oslo. The 54 years old key leader in the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989, Liu Xiao bo received 11 years sentence.
Nobel Committee president Thorbjoern Jagland termed Mr Liu as "the foremost symbol of the wide-ranging struggle for human rights in China" and he also said that he knew the choice is controversial.
Meanwhile Liu Xiao Bo wife and some Western nations asked to release him as soon as possible.
