There are many directors rip DVDs and present it great, take Ghajini for example. Now here, the spectacular 1988 "Mississippi Burning" is the story and there were lot of opportunities for giving it the same look but the crew failed, sadly.
The hard part in ripping off the Hollywood movie is "Indianizing" or say "desi" it. THe racism is converted into caste problems. Well... that's perfect and they took honor killings... but still the three hours (yes... when they will realize its threeeee hours?) is just a painful experience not to mention about the hard earned money.
