Myanmar started to implement the hoisting of the new flag which consists of three horizontal colors, Yellow in top, Green in middle and bottom of Red with a white star in the center. A government building in Yangon hoisted the new flag flying yesterday.
The official usage was announced by the State Peace and Development Council on local television and radio media.
Many laws and guidelines about usage of the flag, emblem and national anthem also were approved by the council.
