Google seems keen on entering robotics... Google recently officially announced its testing of automatic driving cars which were spotted as early as November 2009.
The cars have weird camera on its roof and here is a video of the same. The company got permission from authorities already and there was only one accident as of now.
If you watch the video closely you can see two cameras, one rotating and another fixed.
