In what could be called as an embarrassment to the former IPL Chairman Lalit Modi, The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued an international Blue Notice Alert for detention. BCCI suspended Modi in April and now he is facing 22 charging on financial irregularities.
The ED claims the same for the alleged "serious contraventions" of the foreign exchange law following the IPL T20 finance irregularities investigations.
The notice is issued with the Interpol concurrence has Lalit Modi's photograph and passport number. This comes after Lalit Modi failure to present for examinations.
