Surasamharam is a Tamil traditional festival which is celebrated yearly. The very famous temples to visit on this day is Thiruchendur Murugan Temple, Palani and Sikkal though all the Shiva and Murugan temples hold special poojas on this day.
Soorasamharam date falls November 11 2010 on which Skanda Sashti viradham or fasting also starts or ends.
