Mr Lua Cheng Eng, former chief executive and chairman of Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) died on Tuesday. He was 72 years old.
He fell in a hotel and was in coma due to a blood clot five years before; later recovered partially.
Mr Lua spent around 30 years in shipping who is considered one of the visionaries to Singapore's modern history.
