According to NASA scientists Sunday morning Sun's surface erupted emitting tons of plasma directly towards the earth and space. It is expected to reach the planet early Aug 4th.
Bunch of ionized atoms should hit the earth tonight which might create a geomagnetic storm and a eye catching light show though there is a possibility to affect the satellites functionality on the way.
