MV Khalija-III Collided MSC Chitra Threatens Minor Oil Spill Navigational Problems

Two Indian merchant ships named MSC Chitra and MV Khalija-III collided due to technical and navigational error in the MSS Chitra ship internal system.

There is a minor oil spill from MSC Chitra engine, though it is not a tanker ship.

A helicopter and a ship were deployed for the anti pollution operation.

The grounded ship might be a problem for other moving ships as the navigation systems need to be diverted.
