Karnataka Zilla and Taluk Panchayat election polls will be counted today deciding the fate of 15,000 candidates.
Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa is confident about winning the elections. The polls were conducted with electronic voting machines for the first time.
The results are expected to be released today afternoon. A total of 30 zila (district) and 176 taluka (sub-district) panchayats are included in the election.
