Salman Taseer, governor of Punjab province-Pakistan was shot and killed at a shopping plaza near his home. Pakistan news sources reported that his guard who got angered by Salman Taseer's recent stand against blasphemy allegedly killed the governor.
Taseer recently showed open support for a Christian woman sentenced to death for blasphemy.
