Position: Senior Specialist / Associate Consultant: Sharepoint
Location: Noida
Education: Bachelors Degree required

JOB DESCRIPTION:-

- Installing, configuring and maintaining SharePoint 2007 and WSS 3.0 servers.

- Design and configure the High Availability environment using MSCS or other cluster solutions with knowledge/experience on Storage Devices (SAN, NAS, DAS)

- Disaster recovery planning

- Understanding of SQL server like backup, restore.

- Understanding of DNS, DHCP and networking.

- Capacity planning and Fine tune system for optimal performance


SKILLS REQUIRED :-

Candidate should have around 2+ year of SharePoint Server Administration experience preferably with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining medium to large environments.

- Must have good knowledge of the different server functions and their configuration like Search / indexing, web front end etc…

- Good knowledge of SharePoint site and site collection administration.

- Good Knowledge in configuring SharePoint server web farms.

- Should have knowledge in OS and AD.

- Should have knowledge on IIS web applications.

- Knowledge/ exposure of antivirus tools for SharePoint.

- Knowledge of SharePoint Monitoring, Management, Reporting tools is an added advantage.

- Should have good communication and customer interaction skills.

- Global exposure would be preferred.
