A gossip spread over Tamil and Telugu film network that Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva got married which left fans and media in shock.
Prabhu Deva directed the film "Villu" in which Nayanathara took lead role with Vijay. At that time it is allegedly said that Prabhu Deva had hard times with his wife and at the same time Nayanthara just made a comeback from broken love with Simbu.
Though they did not acknowledge their friendship rumours started spreading that both are comfortable with each other and they went to cine fests together which increased the speculation.
