After delayed inauguration from August to September, New Delhi Metro finally managed to bring the new line 3 which connects between the Central Secretariat and Qutub Minar.
This route has been officially opened to the public which was inaugurated by the New Dehli Chief Minister, Mrs. Sheila Dixit.
Now South Delhi gets its place in the Delhi Metro map, as it goes all the way through Jor Bagh, AIIMS, Green Park, Hauz Khas, Saket and Vasant Kunj.
