Guru Poornima is the day to remember all our teachers and gurus helped our life to lead and to pay our deep gratitude to them.
The Guru Purnima is celebrated in honor of Veda Vyas, the Guru of the Hindu Dharma, who wrote the Brahma Sutras, the eighteen Puranas and the Mahabharat. The festival falls in the Ashadh month according to Hindu calendar, the full moon day.
