Alan Shadrake is arrested in Singapore on criminal defamation charges which might effect two year prison sentence. The 75 years old writer conveyed reporters earlier that he expect trouble on the "Once a Jolly Hangman" book promotion trip to Singapore.
He said, "If they do anything, it'll just draw more attention to it all, and they have no defence"
